27 Indoor Activities For Kids Stuck At Home Because Of The Coronavirus

27 Indoor Activities For Kids Stuck At Home Because Of The Coronavirus

Make being cooped up inside unforgettable.

Use electrical tape to put "roads" on the floor that your kid's toy cars can drive on.

And while you're putting tape down, try playing indoor hopscotch!

Play balloon ping-pong — all you need are paper plates, paper towel rolls (or popsicle sticks), and a balloon.

Your kids can also play ACTUAL ping-pong indoors even if you don't have a ping-pong table.

Put a bar of soap in the microwave to make soap clouds.

Hang a target to test your kid's paper airplane tossing abilities.

Try experimenting with water marbles.

Try out some kid-friendly yoga lessons to keep your kids centered and limber.

View this video on YouTube

Put hot water on leftover Skittles to create pretty patterns.

Make fireworks in a jar using water, oil, and food coloring.

Play "The Donut Game" — which is like Jenga with stuff you have around the house.

Have kids cut out hands and then apply nail polish to them.

If your kids love slime, they'll have a blast making foam dough.

Little kids can give their plastic toys a bath.

Penny games are fun for kids to play — and all you need are some pennies!

Turn a milk jug into a storm trooper helmet from Star Wars.

Tape papers towel rolls to the wall to keep toddlers busy.

Older kids will enjoy the same idea — just jazzed up a little.

Painter’s tape and some balled-up newspaper are all you need for this “sticky spiderweb” activity.

Preschoolers can continue to learn how to draw letters with an easy-to-make sugar-writing tray.

Make a bowl of popcorn and challenge your kids to play the Popcorn Olympics.

Let your kids draw on the walls — that is, after putting up butcher paper or something similar.

Play kid-friendly games on Amazon Echo/Dot or Google Home.

Balloon rockets are super fun and — bonus! — teach an important science lesson.

Cut a pool noodle in half to make a marble racetrack.

Freeze water to play mini ice hockey.

If all else fails...let your kids play dress up in the far end of your closet.

Cannot impose lockdown in Pakistan with 25 pc population living on daily wages: Imran Khan

A total of 41 new cases were confirmed in Sindh on Saturday, taking the provincial tally to 333, according to Sindh Health Department spokesperson Meeran Yousuf.

Islamabad [Pakistan]: Amid calls for a complete lockdown in Pakistan to combat the coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that state-imposed curfew is not possible in the country as one-fourth of its population is under the poverty line and survives on daily wages.

“A complete lockdown means imposing a curfew administered by state and army, forcing people to stay indoors. Our country’s 25 per cent population lives below the poverty line and survives on daily wages. We are taking steps, keeping our on-ground status in mind,” Pakistan Prime Minister’s Office wrote on Twitter.

“We need to be responsible for ourselves and our elderly. We need to practice social distancing, self-isolation and self-quarantine to keep us and everyone else safe,” he added.

The Pakistan Prime Minister also advised against spreading panic in the country, saying that it will lead to chaos.

“We do not need to panic as it will only lead to chaos. People will start hoarding and may cause a shortage of food. This will lead to grave consequences. We are making every effort to ease the sufferings of our people during this crisis,” Khan said.

He further said: “Our media has an important role in stopping panic among the masses. Panic can be more fatal than the Pandemic itself. Hence act responsibly and practice precautions to save not only yourself but the vulnerable ones too.”

A total of 41 new cases were confirmed in Sindh on Saturday, taking the provincial tally to 333, according to Sindh Health Department spokesperson Meeran Yousuf.

The total number of cases in Karachi is 123, while 210 positive cases among the pilgrims from Taftan in Sukkur. Meanwhile, the countrywide tally has reached 686. (ANI)
